WCU to offer SAT preparation workshop Oct. 16
10/3/2008 - Western Carolina University will offer a SAT preparation workshop from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, in Room 137 of the Cordelia Camp Building.
Students will learn study strategies specifically for the SAT. Equal time will be devoted to both mathematics and verbal skills.
Instructors for the workshop will be Terri Caron, head of the math department at Swain County High School, and Cassie Dickson, outreach counselor for WCU’s Educational Talent Search.
Registration is $49.
